“Out of the best interests for the health and safety of our ticket buyers and their families, Disney Princess – The Concert shows scheduled to take place between November 1 and December 12, 2021 are being rescheduled to 2022,” according to a post on Disney Concerts Twitter yesterday.
Patrons with purchased tickets have the option attend a rescheduled show or seek a refund for shows being rescheduled. For those cancelled entirely, patrons with tickets can seek a refund only.
Impacted locations include “Red Bank, NJ; Brookville, NY; Pensacola, FL; Evans, GA; Louisville, KY; and Oshkosh, WI,” according to a Deadline article.
The star-studded event features a number of incredible Disney voices, including Susan Egan, the original Belle in Broadway’s “Beauty and the Beast.” Egan also provided the voice for Megara in “Hercules” and performs often in Disney television productions.
The show also features Courtney Reed, who played Jasmine in “Aladdin” on Broadway, and Aisha Jackson, who previously starred as Anna in the Broadway production of “Frozen.” Cristy Atlomare will join the ballad-belters as well. She previously played Anastasia in the Broadway cast of the show, which tells a fictional story of the Russian grand duchess, Anastasia Romanov.
Previously, Broadway superstar Laura Osnes was also set to perform on the tour. However, the show has a strict COVID vaccine requirement, and Osnes was not vaccinated at the time.
