Construction Walls Have Been Removed From Main Street Confectionary
Earlier this year, Disney announced that the Main Street Confectionary at Magic Kingdom would be closed for an extended period of time for a major refurbishment.
Since that time, this important bit of Main Street real estate has had a construction wall around.
However, today during our visit to check out the Fab 50 statue we noticed that those construction walls are now down.
This looks pretty promising when it comes to the Confectionary reopening for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration which kicks off on October 1st.
We’ve heard various rumors that there are big changes coming to the Confectionary in terms of possible collaborations and new items that will be available.
Since the Main Street Confectionary closure, select bakery items and pre-packaged treats have been available at Main Street Cinema.
However, because they don’t have the in-house open kitchen, items have been limited.
Here at MickeyBlog we can’t wait for the reopening of this beloved Disney World Sweet Shop!
It’s so nice to see it coming back to life!
We expect Disney to be revealing a lot more details about this exciting reopening in the weeks ahead!
