BOO BASH: Cinderella Castle Casts a Colorful Halloween Glow
Something that you may not have know about Mickey’s Boo Bash at Magic Kingdom is that once the daytime visitors have left and the party has started, a magical transformation occurs.
The lights dim and everything turns a bit ominous (but in a good way!)
At the start of our evening, Cinderella Castle was all lit up in a emerald green hue.
We are definitely getting Wizard of Oz Emerald City vibes!
During the soiree, the 50th Anniversary emblem on the castle was not lit.
We can almost imagine someone peering at us from the upper windows of the castle.
As you can see from these images, the crowd has thinned out a bit from earlier this evening.
Walt presides over the eerie festivities!
Throughout the night, the colors do switch up!
For a while the entire park felt like it was lit up in a midnight blue hue.
Here’s the castle looming in the distance.
The storefronts along the Plaza were also adorned with the same lighting.
Even the fountain was lit up in sinister colors!
There’s something super spooky about that green glow.
A few moments later the castle was colored a deep, rich red.
Despite the weird vibes you have to admit its kind of beautiful!
The landmark undoubtedly sets the scene for the Halloween fun!
