Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Now Open for Booking
An exciting announcement for our West Coast fans- Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast is now open for booking! The fan-favorite character dining will reopen Thursday, July 22 and reservations are now available for booking.
Character dining is returning to Storyteller’s Cafe. Previously, breakfast had been served at the Grand Californian restaurant but without any of our favorite Disney characters. Disney recently announced that as part of their planned reopening character dining would return at both Storyteller’s Cafe and the Plaza Inn.

Storyteller’s Cafe is located at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. They offer breakfast, dinner and brunch on Sundays.
Guests who make reservations for Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast will be able to enjoy the following menu:
First Course
- Assortment of Mini Croissant and MIni Chocolate Croissants
- Mini Granola Yogurt Parfait
- Seasonal Sliced Fruits and Berries
Second Course (choice of)
- Oatmeal
- Buttermilk Pancakes
- American Breakfast
- Mickey-shaped Waffle
- Fitness Omelet
- Breakfast Burrito
- Kids’ Mickey Waffle
- Kids’ Buttermilk Pancakes

Current pricing for breakfast is $29 per adult and $20 per child (ages 3-9) plus tax and gratuity. We anticipate that these reservations will book quickly so get on your Disneyland app and book now!

Snagged at 7:45AM reservation on my daughters birthday next week! So excited character dining opened in time for her birthday! How does this work if we have tickets to Disneyland? I’ve never stayed at the hotel so I don’t know how to get to Storyteller’s Cafe.
Storytellers Cafe is located at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort and Spa which is right next to Disney California Adventure Park and across from Disneyland Park. Once you’ve finished breakfast you can exit the hotel via the North side entrance and walk through Downtown Disney and you’ll come to the entrance for Disneyland. If you get lost do not be afraid to ask a Cast Member as there are plenty of them around willing to help! Have a magical visit!
