5 Must-Have Marvel Items To Pick Up During Your Avengers Campus Visit

We haven’t been this excited about new merch since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened.  There’s so much to love about the newly opened Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort with its incredible rides and awesome eats!

But also let’s not forget the merch! Disney has pulled out all the stops for a wide array of awesome Avengers-inspired items.  Best of all, some even change the way your experience WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure! 

There will be three dedicated merchandise locations where you can pick up special Avengers items.  This includes: Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop, located at Stage 17 in Disney California Adventure; and within Avengers Campus at WEB Suppliers and the Avengers Campus Supply Pod. 

Here, with a little help from D23, are a handful of must-have items! 

Your Very Own Spider-Man Suit

Peter Parker really shines at the Avengers Campus.  Therefore it’s not surprising that guests will leave wanting to emulate your favorite hero.  The Spidey-suit has been recreated for little ones!  

Brad Schoeneberg, vice president of Brand Merchandising for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products said of this awesome kit,  “It’s really reflective of the character that you’re spending the day with on your visit to a park.” He continued, It just feels like you’re living this story. You are really having your own Super Hero journey.”

Avengers Campus Branded Merch

There’s also a whole range of items dedicated to the campus recruits (that includes you!) when you’re in training.  This includes fleece hoodies, tees and more.  Campus Supply Pod is a great place to stock up on these items. On most of the items you’ll find Disney Parks-exclusive Avengers “A” branding.  Most items also come with pockets so you can hold all your new recruit tech.

Spider-Man Goggles

Now we’re getting one to some of the more tech-heavy merch.  First up are these stylish Spider-Man goggles.  Turn them on and they’ll display a range of emotions from concerned to joy! You wear them like sunglasses.  They feature a digital screen that the wearer can’t see but are sure delight other visitors. 

WEB Tech Accessory: The WEB Power Band

WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure is the brand new attraction that invites guests to don your 3D glasses and go on an adventure to stop Spider-Bots from taking over the Avengers Campus. Best of all, the state-of-the-art technology allow guest to sling webs with your own hands just like Peter Parker. 

By purchasing the WEB Power Band and brining it on the ride, guests will be able to unlock multi-fire webs brining an extra dimension of awesomeness to the ride.  Half the fun of this awesome merch is the ability to find your own super powers. Oh, and also be on the lookout for WEB Tech themed after some of your other favorite Avengers including Spider-Man, Ghost Spider, Iron Man and Rescue and your adventure will unlock specific talents linked to those heroes.  

Spider-Bots

I’ve kinda saved the best for last!  Peter Parker created the Spider-Bots to be his faithful companions until an upgrade went awry and before we knew it they were multiplying rapidly!  However, seeing as there’s no shortage of these cute critters you might as well take one home with you!. 

Spider-Bots are powered by a remote control with eight articulated legs that move forward and backward—and they’re customizable. Best of all you can upgrade these cuties to harness the powers of other heroes like Black Panther, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Ant-Man and The Wasp. Adding to the “friendly” nature of these sidekicks, it’s also possible to connect with friends’ Spider-Bots to engage in epic showdowns.
