Disney Cruise Line Announces ‘Once Upon a Disney Wish’ Virtual Event for Debut of Disney Wish
If you are a Disney Cruise Line fan, you are going to want to mark your calendars for this! Disney Cruise Line has just announced the “Once Upon a Disney Wish” virtual event to unveil their next and newest ship – the Disney Wish!

“Once Upon a Disney Wish” will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11 am EST. During the virtual event, viewers will be the first to learn about incredible new spaces and experiences coming to this high seas beginning next Summer.
To get us excited for the virtual event, Disney Cruise Line has just released this clip to give us a preview on what to expect including a sneak peek on how the magic of technology is being used to bring the Disney Wish to life.
The “Once Upon a Disney Wish” event will be hosted by Cruise Director, Ashley Long, and is scheduled to last 30 minutes. When you tune in, be prepared for for a sneak peek at all the magic that awaits Guests aboard the Disney Wish.
There will be a behind-the-scenes look with Walt Disney Imagineers along with the creative team that is bringing the Disney Wish to the high sea. There also be appearances from some of our favorite Disney characters and and some surprise performances are even in store!
As mentioned above, the Disney Wish is still on schedule to take its inaugural voyage in Summer 2022. While not officially announced yet, it is looking like the Disney Wish will offer 3 and 4-night cruises to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral, Florida. The Disney Wish will take the spot of the Disney Dream at Port Canaveral as the Disney Dream will begin calling Miami, Florida it’s home port year around starting in the Summer of 2022. The Disney Fantasy will remain at Port Canaveral and continue its usual itineraries of 7-night Caribbean Cruises.
