EPCOT Reveals New Creations Shop Opening This Summer
We’ve got some excited EPCOT news to share with you! Disney announced today that EPCOT will be unveiling a NEW flagship store called the Creations Shop!
This new retail location will feature a bold, sleek design that creates a perfect showcase for a wide variety of items. Disney describes it as an “open, bright, welcoming environment with large glass walls that allow sunlight to pour in an make you feel like your in touch with nature even while indoors.” It will replace MouseGear!
Part of the re-imagining of EPCOT will including experimenting with the ways that color, materials and light are used in new ways to connect the park back to its storied past while looking ward the future.
Disney Imagineers shared the artists rendering today. Among the highlights inside the shop will be a large mural of Mickey Mouse. With pride of place along one of the shop’s main walls, Mickey will serve as the shop’s muse and you’ll discover homages to him throughout the space.
This includes new artistic expressions that showcase the global contemporary icon that Mickey has become for generations around the world.
Inside Creations Shop you’ll find completely original works of art that will live on inside the space as a testament to the park’s ability to inspire the dreamer in all of us!

Disney said in their press release this morning, “Our goal is for Creations Shop to be more than a place to pick up a memento of your time at EPCOT – we want your every moment with us to be an experience worthy of the park’s vision and tradition. The products you’ll find here will extend Disney storytelling and allow you to bring that experience home with you, all while encouraging you to explore your own expressiveness and creativity. ”
Creation Shop will be in EPCOT’s new World Celebration neighborhood. Other features of this new neighborhood that have recently been unveiled includes a new fountain at the main entrance, new lighting for Spaceship Earth and theme park entrance and music designed to re-energize your EPCOT experience!
