Disney+ Luke Skywalker Show! Really?
Is a Disney+ Luke Skywalker show in the works?
I read enough of the Star Wars comics and books to understand wanting to SEE more Luke Skywalker adventures.
And creatives and executives alike saw and understood the reaction from fans who went bonkers when Luke ignited the green at the end of The Mandalorian, Season 2.
But could it actually happen?
Always in Motion is the Future
Well, the trades didn’t touch the rumor with a ten-foot nerf prod.
However, Giant Freakin Robot (?) reported that a reliable source placed a new Skywalker show set just after Episode V:
According to our trusted inside source – the same one that has provided Giant Freakin Robot with multiple confirmed exclusive scoops that have included Bruce Campbell appearing for a cameo in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Chloe Bennet returning as Quake for a new Marvel series – Luke Skywalker is going to get his own solo series over on the streaming service Disney+. The plan is to set the show during some point after Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.
Following up on the report, GiantFreakinRobot.com asked, “Will this mean recasting Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker? Could fans finally see Sebastian Stan in the role? Or will Disney commit to a deepfake de-aging process for an entire series?”

What About Grogu?
Great questions. But WeGotThisCovered.com premised:
When he exited the season 2 finale, Luke took Grogu with him to train him up as a Jedi. We’ll have to check in on him once more next time, then, if we’re to see The Child again, and we definitely will, as Disney aren’t about to lose the beloved mascot. So, like Rosario Dawson’s guest appearance as Ahsoka last year, season 3 could introduce a new actor as Luke ahead of his spinoff.
