Update: Neverland Map Being Refurbished
We have an update! MickeyBlog told you this morning about the new construction walls around part of Peter Pan’s Flight queue in Fantasyland.
We can now confirm that the Never Land map in this part of the queue is being refurbished! This is the area that Peter Pan appears for photos.
The large brown walls wrap around the corner from ride entrance, near Columbia Harbour House and the Rapunzel Tower bathrooms.
For now the queue is shifted outside the walls after it exits Columbia Harbour House, as we reported last week.
There is an opening visible for Cast Members to enter and you can see the queue is still open inside.
Here’s a brief video of the area below.
Peter Pan’s Flight underwent a month long closure and refurbishment in 2019. These minor enhancements are all part of Disney’s preparations for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World later this year.
Of course MickeyBlog will let you know if we find something exciting when the walls come down. Stay tuned!
