Disney Springs Adjusts Hours In Keeping With Orange County Curfew
If you’re are planning on visiting Disney Springs over the next few days then you’ll want to be aware of changes to business hours in keeping with a curfew set up by Orange County.
According to a piece in ClickOrlando, Disney Springs will be closing at 7pm every day until the curfew is lifted. This will give guests ample time to return home in the evenings.
As we previously reported here at MickeyBlog, Disney Springs officially reopened on May 20th with capacity and social distancing restrictions. This includes temperature checks, mandatory face masks, social distancing in shops and eateries and more.
In addition, Disney World’s downtown shopping district has said they will close early due to the curfews put into place in response to the rioting that has been going on in Orlando and throughout the country. Precautions are being taken as a result of the protests turning violent over the weekend. According to the piece in ClickOrlando, law enforcement responded to Mall at the Millennia after multiple stores were broken into on Saturday morning. According to police, tear gas needed to be deployed yesterday after demonstrators tried to go up an I-4 ramp and proceeded to throw construction materials at officers.
This is a story that we will continue to follow closely. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for the latest Disney World news and updates.
