NBA Player Leaves The Disney Bubble To Go To A Strip Club
As we’ve been reporting regularly here at MickeyBlog, Disney is currently host NBA teams at Walt Disney World and has created a “health and safety bubble” so that players can complete their season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Campus located at Walt Disney World property. Extreme measures have been taken to keep players and employees safe and Disney and the NBA are striving to limit the amount of people coming in and out of the bubble to combat the spread of COVID-19.
However, it would appear that Los Angeles Clippers Guard Lou Williams decided not to play by the rules when photographs turned up on Instagram of him visiting a Strip Club on Thursday night!
The photos have since resulted in the league investigating Williams’ trip outside the bubble and they have imposed a 10 day quarantine on Williams according to Ramona Shelburne and Bobby Marks. You can check out Romona’s tweets below.
Reporting with @BobbyMarks42: The NBA is investigating what Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams did while on an excused absence from the Orlando campus, so it can assess the length of his re-quarantining process, multiple sources told ESPN on Saturday.

The pictures of Williams violating his agreement to stay in the Disney bubble were posted by Rapper Jack Harlow. You can see a copy of the picture below (which have since been taken down.)

Williams’ quarantine could hit the Clippers hard. As a piece in Yahoo News tells us, the player is currently averaging 18.7 points and 5.7 assists per game off the bench. Williams being at the Strip Club was reported on Thursday morning after he received an excused absence to leave the bubble for personal reasons. According to Williams his grandfather had died. However, hours later the photos started to emerge in Harlow’s Instagram story.
According to reports the strip club in question a was the Magic City strip club in Atlanta. The Clippers head coach Doc Rivers told reporters when asked about the situation, ” “Obviously those [pictures] got out and that’s something we obviously didn’t enjoy seeing or like.”
This isn’t the first time the NBA players have been in the news. Earlier this month we reported that many of the players were complaining about the accommodation at Disney’s high end hotels likening it to staying at Motel 6!This is a story that we’ll continue to follow closely here at MickeyBlog, readers are encouraged to keep checking back in with us for the latest news and updates!
