BREAKING NEWS: It’s a Cavalcade of Characters At Magic Kingdom This Morning
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog then you know that we are enjoying the Cast Member previews at Magic Kingdom today! Earlier we shared some images of our arrival at the parks and now we wanted to give you a look at some of the characters that have come out to say “Hello!”
Disney World announced that they won’t be having parades due to the crowd levels that would gather. So, in these times of social distancing, they’ve introduced some awesome character cavalcades to the park. These informal, spontaneous appearances in the HUB are a great way to say hello to some of your favourite Disney friends!
First up is Jose from the Three Caballeros riding atop one of the floats that you might remember for the “Move It, Shake It” Dance Party.
Wave to Clarabelle and Goofy who both look very happy to be greeting guests once again!
Performers including this towering stilt walker also joined in on the fun – six feet apart from one another of course!
Clap along with these enthusiastic Cast Members – there is a lot to celebrate after all!
Isn’t it nice to hear a marching band on Main Street again!?
As you can see, the cavalcades are on a much smaller scale than parades like the Festival of Fantasy, but with smaller crowd levels and the importance of social distancing, there are just what is needed to add that extra bit of pixie dust to your time at Magic Kingdom.
The cavalcades seem to be happening throughout the day today. Here’s a photo we shared earlier of Piglet and Rabbit on the Main Street Trolley.
