“American Idol” Airs First Ever Remote Show
Last night history was made on ABC. Even though American is under quarantine, “American Idol” still delighted fans with their first ever remote show. Episode: 313 (On with the Show: Top 20 Sing for Your Vote) was broadcast to viewers from over 40 different locations across the United States and Canada.
Distance didn’t stop judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, host Ryan Seacrest, in-house mentor Bobby Bones and the Top 20 contestants from putting on a spectacular show full of remarkable costumes, emotional moments and can’t-miss performances, brought from their homes straight to America’s homes. The remaining Idol hopefuls continued their journeys remotely, filming their performances on iPhones, singing their hearts out for a chance to win America’s vote and ultimately the coveted season three crown! (TV-PG, L) Episodes can now be viewed on demand and on Hulu.
