Watch As GMA Meteorologist Ginger Zee and Friends Make the “Magic Happen” at Home
Here at MickeyBlog, we’re celebrating the weekend with a little help from Disney’s new website Disney Magic Moments as well as our favorite Meteorologist- Good Morning America’s Ginger Zee.
Ginger and her friends have joined forces to make some magic happen while at home by showing off their awesome dance moves. Their song of choice? The theme song for the new and spectacular “Magic Happens” parade at Disneyland theme park.
Enjoy the magic coming you to from the living rooms of this footloose trio!
A trio of “Magic Happens” fans from our Disney family over at ABC News, @Ginger_Zee and her friends @robertzepeda and @reggieaqui, recreated the @Disneyland park parade’s magic in their living rooms! https://t.co/yQtDiCGYC3 #DisneyMagicMoments pic.twitter.com/wJGn6TRNCg

Ginger was joined by two mighty talented friends Robert Zepeda from ABC News and Reggie Aqui from ABC 7 in San Francisco. The moves are taken directly from the choreography of the parade which they learned from home. Ginger, Robert and Reggie perfected both the lyrics and the dance moves which is no easy feat.
We cannot wait for Disneyland to open so that we can once again watch Mickey and Friends in this extra special procession through the theme park. In the meantime, you can check out this virtual viewing of the parade:
Disneyland’s newest parade, “Magic Happens” includes nine incredible floats highlighting the magic from Disney classics like “The Sword in the Stone,” “Cinderella” and”Sleeping Beauty” along with recent stories like “Frozen 2,” “Moana,” “Coco,” and “The Princess and the Frog.”
Each of the stories told by these floating works of art are rooted in iconic Disney lore while the soundtrack (including a new musical score by Toderick Hall) along with costume design and choreography pay homage to contemporary design.
Readers are encouraged to keep checking back with MickeyBlog for more “Magical Moments!”
