Raglan Road at Disney Springs Has Cancelled St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
As many Disney regulars can tell you, there is no better place to spend March 17th than at Raglan Road an Irish Pub located at Disney Springs. Here the Guinness is plentiful, the Irish dancers toe-tappingly wonderful, and they do a mean fish and chips!
However, we’re sad to report that this year’s celebration has been cancelled in light of the mandatory Disney Springs shutdown to curb the spread of COVID-19.
And finally… we had to send our Irish entertainers home today in advance of flights from Ireland to USA being halted from midnight tonight
We're hoping to provide an alternative act to play some Irish tune instead.

As you can see from the tweet above, Raglan Road had to arrange for the entertainment at this year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration to head back to Ireland.

This was followed by a post left on their Instagram account letting Disney Spring’s guests know that they’d shutting their doors this evening and would remain closed indefinitely.
It will be a similar story across Disney Springs this week. In a story we shared with you earlier today, Disney is closing all its Disney-owned businesses at Disney Springs and it is expected that most independently owned businesses will be following suit. You can see the official announcement below.

In addition, all 29+ resorts on the property will also be closing to help combat the spread of the coronavirus. This is a story that MickeyBlog will continue to follow closely. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for the latest Walt Disney World news and udpates!
