Vistors Are Still Getting In Some Quality Ride-Time Before Disney World Shuts Down This Weekend
Yesterday, we shared with you some images of how Disney World was doing crowd wise in light of mounting concerns over the spread of the Coronavirus. Since Disney’s announcement last evening that they would be closing the gates to all of the theme parks effective this weekend, our MickeyBlogger went back to the parks to see if a lessening of crowds was noticeable.
Here’s what we found out!
As you can see from the image above, lines continue to be long for many of Disney’s headlining attractions. Flight of Passage still sits at 120 minutes and Slinky Dog Dash at 80 minutes.
You can notice with Seven Dwarfs Mine Train that crowds aren’t quite as hefty as yesterday but still going strong.
Again when it comes to attractions like Peter Pan’s Flight or even Toy Story Mania, we see much lower wait times (especially for a Friday morning) however most lines are still nearing the 60-minute mark.
Obviously, crowds can be expected to continue to taper off as we inch ever closer to Walt Disney World’s official closing date. As of going to print each of Disney World’s four theme parks will close as of end-of-play on March 15th and will not open until the end of March.
Here at MickeyBlog, we are monitoring the Coronavirus closely. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for the latest Coronavirus news and updates.
