Changes Made to Walkway from Contemporary Resort to the Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World is continuing to improve the walkways from Disney’s Contemporary Resort to the Magic Kingdom. During a recent visit our MickeyBlogger noticed they are ripping up the old walkway. Let’s take a look:
As you can see, these changes will see the removal of the 6-sided bricks with people’s names on them.
According to a Cast Member that we spoke to, Disney is reaching out to families whose names are engraved on the bricks to find out if they would like to keep them as a souvenir.
Green barriers have been put up along the route.
As have white reflective posts.
If you’ve been to the Magic Kingdom recently then you also know that these changes are in addition to the temp security check-point that has been added until Disney finishes a new permanent structure.
