Top 5 Beverages in Disney Parks
After you’ve had a long day of hanging out with the princesses and spinning in teacups, your energy is at an Eeyore level. Every Disneyland explorer needs to take a break and quench their thirst. But what to drink? Where to go? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. Here’s my list of the top 5 beverages in Walt Disney World.
Pop Century Cotton Candy Lemonade
Visit Everything Pop at the Pop Century Resort for this tall glass of ice cold lemonade. Now, this isn’t just an ordinary glass of lemonade. This refreshment is topped with a dollop of cotton candy. Then, the cotton candy just melts into the lemonade and it becomes a perfect combination of sweetness and tartness. It’s definitely a burst of sugary goodness.
Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake
If you ever wanted to travel back in time to a diner from the 1950’s, you must check out the 50s Prime Time Café. Now everyone has that cherished childhood memory of having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, probably while watching their favorite Disney movie. This drink takes PB and J to a whole other level with the Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake. At the 50’s Prime Time Café, they take a classic diner style milkshake and mix in creamy peanut butter and grape jelly. It’s a smooth and comforting shake you don’t want to miss.
Ramone’s Pear of Dice Soda
For this next delicious drink, you should park yourself by the Cozy Cone Motel located in Cars Land in California Adventure. It’s inspired by the movie Cars. One of the most popular beverages on their menu is Ramone’s Pear of Dice Soda. Get it? Pear of Dice? Paradise? It’s a fun name for a fun drink. It’s a gorgeously vibrant magenta pink color and looks just as good as it tastes. Made with dessert pear syrup, Mojito syrup and Sprite, this is a fizzy and fruity delight to enjoy by the pool. Race over to the Cozy Cone Motel for this prickly pear flavored treat.
New Orleans Mint Julep
Where can you find the absolutely refreshing New Orleans Mint Julep? Why, at the Mint Julep bar, of course. Tucked in underneath the garden patio of the French Market Restaurant located in New Orleans Square in Disneyland is this hidden little gem. Light and refreshing, this drink has a bright minty flavor with a pop of citrus lime. Adorned with a fresh mint leaf and lemon, it’s a nice beverage to savor in the shade. Pair it with a Mickey shaped beignet and you’ll be hopping with happiness.
Lefou’s Brew
Head over to Gaston’s Tavern, located in New Fantasyland, for this tasty treat. There’s a statue of Gaston right outside, you can’t miss it. Lefou’s Brew is named after Gaston’s bumbling but lovable sidekick, Lefou. It is a frozen apple juice slushy topped with a passion fruit and mango foam. With just a hint of toasted marshmallow flavor mixed in, it is crisp and sweet and perfect after a long day of exploring the park. Does it get any better than that? Yes, it does, because this delicious beverage is served in a souvenir goblet or stein with images of Gaston and Princess Belle on the side that you can take home with you.
