Check Out All of the Incredible Holiday-Themed Details You’ll Find on “it’s a small world” Holiday at Disneyland
If you’re heading to Disneyland Resort in California this Holiday Season then be sure to set aside time to enjoy the happiest holiday cruise that ever set sail. Each Yuletide Season the iconic “it’s a small world” attraction gets a festive makeover complete with dazzling lights and a giant Santa hat atop the clock face.
But that’s not all, from the moment your boat sets sail, you are on course for a whimsical holiday ride giving fun insights into how the holidays are celebrated around the world! We here at MickeyBlog are excited to share with you some of these exciting details!
Your voyage on “it’s a small world” Holiday begins in the northern regions where you’ll be greeted by sparkling snowflakes, letters to Santa, a snow-covered cottage and even a cameo from Mrs. Claus.
Next, we venture to Europe where you’ll notice two Yeoman Warders called Beefeaters protecting the tower of London. These are often represented in Christmas ornaments and holiday decor.
Next the boat ventures into Asia where you’ll find the inhabitants in the middle of a Lunar New Year celebration. We just love the incredible details from the neon dragon to the sparkling fireworks.
During your journey into South America and Mexico be on the lookout for the Three Caballeros!. Donald Duck, José Carioca and Panchito happily show off their musical skills to celebrate the season.
As there boat charts a course for the Pacific Islands you’ll see mermaids joyfully singing “Jingle Shells.” You may even spot Ariel and two of her sisters swaying along to the music. You’ll also notice that instead of the traditional milk and cookies the mermaids are leaving a fishy treat for Santa.
And of course, as you glide past the Hawaiian islands you’re bound to catch a glimpse of one of our favorite Disney duos- Lilo and Stitch! Be on the lookout for one of Stitch’s prized possessions, an Elvis bubble head which he brought out especially for the holidays.
Before long you’ll find yourself meandering through America where you are greeted by lovable gophers dressed in Santa hats. There are also three Native Americans who are celebrating the holiday season with a new discovery – popcorn!
These are just some of the many reasons why “it’s a small world” Holiday at Disneyland Resort remains such a treasured Yuletide experience. So what are you waiting for? Start planning a Disneyland getaway to check out these amazing details for yourself!
