Show Your Patriotic Side with 4th of July Disney Merchandise
I rely on the kids in my neighborhood for 2 things: keeping my go-to ice cream shop in business and for telling time. You know how some work days are, hours can pass before you finally take a moment to tear your eyes away from the project that’s almost due and check the clock. For most of the year, 5 days a week, the kids give me an unwavering 90 minute warning. At 3:30 every day, I can hear their voices filling the streets as they hurry home from school, and whenever I hear their excited screams, I know I’ve got 90 minutes left to complete whatever I’m working on before 5:00. Although only a few weeks have passed since I lost my timetable, the middle of the summer is already here, and July 4th here now too! No matter where you’re celebrating from, shopDisney.com is making it easy to add a little All-American Disney magic to your town’s fireworks display or backyard cookout.
There are way, way too many patriotic t-shirt choices from shopDisney.com to possibly list them all here, so let’s focus on the highlights! If you’ve got a superhero fan in the family, Captain America- inspired gear is certain to make your little one feel like a true American hero this July 4th!
Growing up, I remember my family and I heading to the nearby shopping mall and each of us picking out a red white and blue shirt to wear to our annual cookout on July 4th. The cookouts haven’t stopped, but the matching shirts have. I’m bringing back that childhood tradition this year; I ordered a shirt for everyone in my family. You can find a shirt for everyone’s tastes with the countless style and color options!
Let’s get down to what really matters…the food! The 4th of July I know and love is all about bringing mealtime outside and enjoying some good old BBQ eats with friends and family. This summer is all about superheroes at the Disney Parks and your grill master will be the hero of the party in this Elastigirl-inspired apron!
Grilling on an open spit is the essence of July 4th, but I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t prepare a lot of the food indoors ahead of time. Last year, I made a great red, white, and blue monkey bread recipe in a slow cooker; imagine how much better it would have tasted if mine looked like this!
There are so many styles of cooking out there, and shopDisney.com has everything you’ll need to make the foods your family is craving for this holiday. Will you choose cookware that’s tried and true, or opt for something red white and blue? Let us know in the comments, and happy celebrating!
