Disney Dining with a View
Have a Disney Bucket List? Everyone does! I’d bet that somewhere on there you’re dying for a chance to eat a fantastic meal while watching some of Disney’s breath taking nighttime fireworks shows, right? Lucky for you there are lots of options! Here are some of the best Disney Dining with a View locations!
Catch the newest show, Happily Ever After, inside Magic Kingom for the jaw-dropping projections onto Cinderella’s Castle. However, once you’ve seen it from Main Street USA, try grabbing an advanced dining reservation to one of these restaurants with a view!
Narcoosee’s, located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, offers breathtaking views and the food can’t be beat. An added plus to this location is that there is tiered seating so there is less of a chance that your view will be obstructed due to a full dining room. Narcoosee’s also offers additional viewing on their outdoor deck in case you’ve finished your meal prior to the start of the show!
California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort can be one of the hardest reservations to score during Happily Ever After. Bummed you didn’t get a reservation during fireworks time? Don’t be, because even if you are eating earlier you can return just before the show and present your receipt to gain entrance onto their private viewing deck. Keep your loved ones close as the lights dim and music from the show is piped throughout the restaurant.
‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort offers another option for fireworks viewing. Keep in mind, if your table is located towards the rear you’ll have to move about the restaurant to gain a better view. If you don’t manage to secure a dining reservations during the fireworks, head down to the beach and enjoy the view from there after you’ve eaten.
Enjoying a night at Epcot? The beauty of the World Showcase is that it surrounds the lagoon with several restaurants that offer fireworks viewing.
La Hacienda de San Angel offers delicious Mexican cuisine as well as one of the best views for watching Illuminations. While you can request a Fireworks view, it may increase your wait time. Don’t worry if you can’t get a table near the window since just before the show begins, diners will be invited to move about the restaurant to gain a better view!
Rose and Crown located in the UK Pavilion offers a breathtaking Illuminations experience. With dining options both outside and within the dining room, you’ll have to request a patio table which can be difficult to secure. Stop by the podium a little earlier than your reservation time and alert the host or hostess that you’d like to be placed on the list for a patio table.
Tokyo Dining’s giant picture windows and its second-story location make this eatery located in the Japan Pavilion a perfect spot to eat while viewing Illuminations. While the balcony outside the restaurant is open to the public, the fact that it sits lower than the windows still allows for a great view even when it’s occupied.
Disney also offers delicious Dessert Parties for viewing both Happily Ever After and Illuminations. For an added cost guests can enjoy beverages, desserts, seasonal fruits and cheeses while watching in the most coveted viewing areas of Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
