Recent Additions that Make Memory Maker a Must-Do
If you’re planning a Walt Disney World getaway and are on the fence about taking out a Memory Maker package, we may be able to convince you. There’s been some pretty exciting changes that have happened to Disney World’s fantastic Memory Maker package.
Check out some of the recent additions that make MemoryMaker such a must-have.
1. Disney PhotoPass Video Memories
If you were following along with MickeyBlog yesterday you may have seen our news that Disney PhotoPass video memories is a new Memory Maker feature that launched yesterday.
This brand new offering allows guests to create and share video memories using you Disney PhotoPass.
You can even customize your videos with Disney-themed templates including stickers, music, texts and more! With this awesome new tool, you can completely create video memories in a matter of moments. This features is available exclusively in the My Disney Experience app.
2. Tiny World Magic Shot at Magic Kingdom Park
Some of Disney World’s incredible PhotoPass photographers offer a Tiny World Magic Shots across the theme parks. The newest version of the Tiny World Magic Shot will be available at the Magic Kingdom.
So where can you find out the latest Magic Kingdom Magic Shot One World? The 360 degree photo op will be offered in front of Cinderella Castle during daylight hours.
3. Indoor Photo Studio at EPCOT
I’ve long considered this one of Disney’s biggest secrets. There is a Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Magic Kingdom Park, Disney Springs and now EPCOT! Head to to the Wandering Reindeer in the Norway pavilion at EPCOT which is the home of the new EPCOT studio.
The Studio is staffed by Disney’s team of talented photographers. No reservations are required and everyone can visit. For those with Memory Maker, the photos captured can be uploaded to your account at no extra cost.
4. Seasonal Backdrops at the Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs
While we’re on the subject of photo studios, you can head over to Disney Springs.
The PhotoPass studio at Disney Springs is now offering backdrops with themed designs that will change each season.
5. Return to Dining Locations
Do you have plans on visiting one of Disney’s character dining experiences? Disney’s PhotoPass photographers are once again there to capture your mealtime moments with a Disney Character.
PhotoPass photographers will no be on-hand at the following locations:
- Chef Mickey’s
- Cinderella Royal Table
- Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White.
6. Attraction Photo and Video Onboard TRON Lightcycle / Run
TRON Lightcycle/Run is opening in just a few days (April 4th.) You can relive your race through The Grid with an onboard photo and video. These link automatically to your My Disney Experience account through one of the following methods.
- Simply use your eligible mobile device, make sure Bluetooth is enabled and that the My Disney Experience is ready to go! Make sure you are logged into the My Disney Experience app and keep your device out of low power mode. Keep your mobile phone on your when you board your Lightcycle.
- Videos can also be linked for those wearing a MagicBand or MagicBand+ that’s linked to your account.
PLEASE NOTE: You can also use the methods above to link and download your photos taken onboard more than a dozen attractions across Walt Disney World Resort – all included with Memory Maker.
7. Prop Available Soon Near TRON Lightcycle / Run
Some of your PhotoPass photos can now even feature props! The newest prop will be available near TRON Lightcycle/Run when it opens on April 4, 2023.
8. More Classic Magic Shots
My favorite thing about Memory Maker is Magic Shots! This is when PhotoPass Photographers add a little pixie dust to your artwork. When you access them via My Disney Experience you’ll find that fun characters had been added in.
We’re constantly adding new Magic Shots, our newest being Bruni, a large assortment for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, and a TRON Magic Shot (available starting April 4). More new offerings will be released very soon!
What to check out all of the Magic Shot possibilities? We recommend you head over to Disney’s PhotoPass account here. Disney is pretty good at updating their PhotoPass Facebook albums. Visiting the Facebook page is a great way to highlight the Magic Shots you’d like to get before your visit. You can also ask your PhotoPass photographer which Magic Shots they would have available.
9. Fairytale Photos at Enchanted Tales with Belle
You may have seen the news that Enchanted Tales with Belle recently reopened at Magic Kingdom Park. We are excited to share the news that photographers are now capturing memories in the library!
Enchanted Tales with Belle is one of nearly 40 locations where you can find Disney PhotoPass photographer ready to capture your encounter at Disney character experiences.
10. Transformation Photos at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park
If your little one is having a fairy tale transformation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Cinderella Castle a photographer will once again be there to capture it.
Please note: You can also pop by Sir Mickey’s where a photographer can capture even more photos of your child’s transformation.
