VIDEO: Wednesday Wandering At The Grand Floridian
The Grand Floridian falls outside the comfort zone of my Disney knowledge, so I was so thrilled to watch MickeyBlog’s video from the resort.
With the sounds of the Walt Disney World Monorail in the distance, Greg Antonelle entered the very quiet and gorgeous lobby.
“For those of you who have not been to Disney’s Grand Floridian, it is a beautiful, luxurious resort,” said Greg, trying not to echo in the cavernous space. “I think I am one of two people!
“But if they’re spending the money to stay here, they’re not hanging out in the lobby.
“They’re either at one of the parks right now or at the pool or Disney Springs,” he said.
Included In Today’s Tour of The Grand Floridian
Highlights of Greg’s tour included:
- Distant views of the “NBA Bubble”
- Sandy Cove Gifts and Sundries
- The Garden View Lounge (complete with a view of the NBA Barber Shop)
- The Grand Floridian Cafe
- The Entrance to Victoria & Alberts
- View from above the Lobby
- The Enchanted Rose Lounge
- Views of the Pools and Monorail
- M. Mouse Mercantile
Grand Floridian Must-Sees
But the “Must-Sees” are the Wedding Pavilion and the walkways around the hotel.
“If you’ve ever seen the [Disney Fairytale Weddings] it’s filmed here,” said Greg.
Bonus Coverage
Greg on the swinging bench of the Polynesian on his own very private beach.
“We are going to SIT on this bench…wheeeee.”
Seriously, the best part of MY day is watching Greg enjoy his private paradise.
And, with that, let’s take the Mickey Blog tour of Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian (and bonus footage of The Polynesian Resort):
