Disney World President Jeff Vahle Shares Images of Staff Getting Trained Up and Ready For Reopening
Not long now Disney friends! As we celebrate friends, family and country this Independence Day weekend, Disney World is hard at work getting geared up and ready to welcome back guests.
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog then you know that the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will be opening on July 11th and Hollywood Studios and EPCOT on July 15th.
New Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle took to Instagram to provide us with some insights as to how the Cast Members are getting ready. Let’s take a look!

As you can see from the image above the cast is going through training regarding the new policies and procedures that are being put into place to keep cast members and guests safe! Some of the precautions include the mandatory use of face masks, temperature checks, social distancing on rides or queues, limiting capacity in the theme parks and increasing the availability of hand sanitation stations.
Special teams of cast members will also be used to enforce the policies throughout the parks.
As you can see from the image above, Plexiglass is also being used at many of the checkout areas of the parks, shops and resorts. It looks like cast member training includes getting those returning to work up to speed on that as well as touchless temperature readings and the all-important sanitation procedures. Its also good to see all of the cast members wearing face masks.
Last but not least, we get an awesome shot of Cast Members out an about at the theme parks making sure everything is falling into place ahead of guests visiting.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog in the lead-in to the reopenings the week of July 11th. We expect a lot more incredible details to be shared with us in the days ahead!
