Kristen Bell Wants To Invite Your Kids At Home To Camp ‘Hello Bello’
With the kids home from school indefinitely, parents are looking for creative ways to keep kids busy. But sifting through all of the different options out there just now can be a job in and of itself. That’s why we here at MickeyBlog wanted to share with you a cool option that we came across.
Much loved Disney star Kristen Bell and her husband Dax Shepard have decided to turn their baby brand into a fun and interactive option for kids – Camp Hello Bello!
“It’s always been our pledge to be a part of your village in life’s messiest, stinkiest, most unmissable adventure of parenthood, and we are sticking to that pledge during this time,” Bell said in the first Instagram video for this awesome new offering.
At the new CampHelloBello.com site, parents have access to a wide array of awesome activities for kids. You’ll find everything from workouts and cooking lessons to arts and crafts and singalongs!

Bell kicked things off on Wednesday reading a book, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, by Charlie Mackesy. She also explained the camp “rules.”
“Rule number one: Do whatever the (beep) you need to do to stay sane. Examples: breathe, scream, laugh, cry, eat chocolate, read a book, eat vegetables, rip your book in two, poop, pee, etc.,” Bell said, adding that rules two through 10 were illegible because her daughter threw spaghetti at her. “As your camp counselors, we are here to help with rule number one, the necessary preservation of your sanity. Almost exactly one year ago today we created Hello Bello for one reason, because parenting alone is hard, and little did we know how hard it could get. Because parenting alone in quarantine is, um, well, it’s impossible.”

Friday (which you can see above) has a proper class schedule including a kids workout, fort-building and something called “playworking.” Most offerings are done through IG live streams but can also be accessed on-demand.
Best of all, in these times of austerity and uncertainty, Camp Hello Bello has pledged to pay the teachers for their service. Some of the classes even link to ways that you can tip the instructions (optional.)
Best of all, the camp is still looking for teachers to lend a helping hand. Know someone that you think would be a perfect fit? Send them to this link.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for other ways to keep the kid’s busy while at home!
