Best Table Service Restaurants at Disney Springs
No matter whether you live in Central Florida or are vacationing at Walt Disney, let’s be realistic.
At some point, you WILL eat at Disney Springs. You’ll probably want a nice meal, too.
Here are the best Table Service restaurants at Disney Springs.
The BOATHOUSE
I should mention that while I’m not ranking these in any particular order, I did exclude my personal opinions in determining the list.
Everything you read here has earned glowing reviews from TripAdvisor users. In fact, you can read an even more detailed list here.
Still, I definitely have favorites that I get to discuss here. Five of the entries are among my top choices when I dine at Disney Springs.
That list starts with The BOATHOUSE, which I’ll praise in a weird way.
I was in Chicago last month, and the restaurant ten feet from my hotel lobby was LUXBAR.
My wife and I loved that place so fully and instantly that we went anti-tourist and ate several meals there.
And we were particularly obsessed with the fries.
Something about them tasted familiar. We later put two and two together when we realized that LUXBAR is a sibling of The BOATHOUSE. They serve the same fries.
Even when I’m on Rush Street in Chicago, I can find something that reminds me of Disney.
The BOATHOUSE is even better than LUXBAR because it has a piano bar, too!
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Here’s another one of my favorites. I championed this place so much when it opened that I did myself a disservice.
During the earliest days of Homecomin’, the restaurant was typically fairly empty. We could easily find a table.
Nowadays, I’m not sure Oprah Winfrey can get a table here without some effort, and Art Smith was once her personal chef!
The demand here speaks volumes about the quality of the dining experience.
You’ll find chicken, waffles, and donuts so delicious that they may reduce you to tears.
The Edison
Several of the restaurants on this list have earned their reputations for their ambiance as much as their food quality.
In the case of The Edison, you’re entering a steampunk club where gymnasts, trapeze artists, and musicians often perform for your amusement.
The Edison is probably as close to Burning Man as the average Disney fan will ever get, and I mean that in the best possible way.
You get the excitement and adventure of avant garde performances. Then, after you’re done eating, you can grab some Mouse Ears at World of Disney.
The Edison feels like Nikola Tesla accidentally teleported the restaurant to the wrong place (and century), but then liked Disney Springs enough to leave it here.
House of Blues Restaurant & Bar
Here’s the one that may surprise you.
Yes, House of Blues is a franchise based on the Blues Brothers brand.
However, the House of Blues in Orlando is generally regarded as the best one.
The Sunday Brunch here is extraordinarily popular, and the live performances often draw a crowd.
This restaurant is legitimately one of the hidden gems of Disney Springs.
Jaleo by Jose Andres
I’ll be blunt. Jose Andres is who I want to be when I grow up.
The celebrity chef has committed himself to reducing world hunger as much as humanly possible.
Andres won the Goodermote Humanitarian Award in 2021 and earned a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2019.
Oh, by the way, Andres happens to be a two-star Michelin Chef, too.
At Jaleo, you’ll find a delightful array of shareables that will dazzle your entire table.
Many guests who visit Disney Springs choose the restaurant for the social component as much as the food.
The tapas here will work wonders in causing everyone to relax and enjoy world-class cuisine.
Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante
I’m fascinated by this place, as it caters to tourists with its design and theming.
You’re dining at an old airport terminal that Maria & Enzo have turned into an upscale restaurant.
Cynics deride the theme, as the premise suggests that the couple afforded this airport terminal because it’d been abandoned.
Presuming that’s the case, why does everything appear to be in perfect shape?
Well, that might be an in-joke, as you’ll also find Enzo’s Hideaway Bar at this locale. It’s a rum-runner establishment during the Prohibition Era.
So, those people at the airport may have left against their will.
Whatever the explanation, the food here is dynamic. It’s a deep menu of Italian flavors that should please any crowd.
Also, while I’m being a bit cheeky here, the story of Maria & Enzo’s is actually quite romantic.
Paradiso 37
The name of this place quietly identifies what you should expect from the menu.
There are 37 countries that comprise The Americas, the proverbial “37” in Paradiso 37.
So, when you eat here, you’ll discover a plethora of options that cover North American, Central American, and South American cuisine.
In short, you can pick your favorite based on your mood. Oh, and while you’re there, you may enjoy a lake view.
Also, depending on your seat, you also might get to watch the legendary Aerophile, the giant hot air balloon that’s a signature part of Disney Springs.
The restaurant’s dining room provides an up-close view of the balloon rides. It’s oddly hypnotic.
Splitsville Dining Room
Every time we plan a Disney vacation with friends, I suggest Splitsville.
Every single time to date, my various companions have politely demurred.
Tourists struggle to reconcile the thought of someone serving excellent food at a bowling alley.
Generally, we’re all happy if the rental bowling shoes aren’t sticky. As for the food, if we keep it down all night, that’s a win, right?
Splitsville isn’t like that. At all. In fact, I swear to you that at the time of publication, it is THE highest-rated restaurant on TripAdvisor’s list.
That bakes your noodle, doesn’t it?
When you grow brave enough to dine here, you’ll discover a shockingly deep menu of entrees and shareables.
Plus, those of you who don’t love bowling will still find plenty of entertainment. There are televisions everywhere here.
Splitsville is a sneaky-great place to watch major sporting events while you’re on vacation.
Terralina Crafted Italian
I’m obviously a huge fan of Maria & Enzo’s due to the theming, and I quite like the food.
However, if you gave me a lie detector test and asked me to name the best Disney Springs restaurant for Italian food, I’d say Terralina Crafted Italian.
I’m far from alone in this opinion, either. Just last year, Orlando Magazine declared this place the Best Family-Friendly Restaurant.
Oh, and Terralina Crafted Italian won for Best Happy Hour, too. So, it’ll appeal to you whether you’re traveling with adults or as part of a family with children.
Wine Bar George
You have friends. They like wine. You like wine. George Miliotes has won awards suggesting he’s one of the best sommeliers on the planet.
What’s not to love?
Seriously, though, no matter how much you like to eat, your mind won’t truly be open until you learn about pairings.
The right wine can elevate any entrée, from something as simple as Mac & Cheese to a decadent Skirt Steak.
This place just won an award for THE Best Wine Bar List in the World. It’s a destination drinking and dining experience.
