New “Nightmare” Santa Plush Might Just Steal Halloween
Famous for having his own holiday taken over, Santa Claus popped up today at one Disney’s Hollywood Studios gift shop just in time for Halloween. Taking on his “The Nightmare Before Christmas” look, this new Santa Claus plush perfectly captures the character’s persona from the film.
Clearly annoyed at the meddling of Jack Skellington, the Santa Claus plush establishes a strong position with his embroidered scowl. He also stands with his hands on hips, ready to tell Jack how to fix Christmas.
The plush may have a small face, but the body of the stuffed Santa takes on a much taller and larger design, capturing Santa’s jolly, cookie-loving attributes.
Of course, Santa must show off his beard, and this plush does just that with his extra-soft sherpa beard that stretches the length of the entire figure.
The plush debuts as part of a larger line celebrating Tim Burton’s 1993 stop-motion animated film that brilliantly crosses two incredibly popular holidays both at the Disney Parks and around the country.
Spooky Santa Shopping Details
Always a popular spot for spooky merchandise, Tower Hotel Gifts currently features the plush, which retails for $34.99. The haunting gift shop sits toward the back of the Hollywood Tower Hotel and serves as the exit to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Stay tuned for more on the latest Halloween and holiday merchandise heading to the Disney Parks over the next few weeks. With the Halloween celebrations winding down next week, the holiday details already keep popping up at parks around the world, and we cannot wait to see more!
