Empty Magic Kingdom Proves Benefits of Rope Dropping the Parks!
It’s June, and many kids are already off for summer break. That being said, Magic Kingdom was empty this morning, proving that rope-dropping the Parks is the way to go!
Rope Drop
On our trip to Disneyland at the end of last year, my family did just that! We didn’t stay at a Resort Hotel, so we weren’t allowed early entry, BUT…we did take advantage of rope dropping.
For those unfamiliar, rope drop simply means getting to the Parks early, before Disney “drops the rope” to let you through to attractions. On the days we visited Disneyland and California Adventure, we made sure to get to the Parks at least 30 minutes early to start lining up.
Although it can be overwhelming and a bit claustrophobic, it’s worth it! Doing so allowed us to ride the top attractions at the Disneyland Resort with minimal wait times.
Early Entry
Last month, my family visited Disney World and unlike Disneyland, we stayed at a Resort Hotel. This gave us access to early entry, which we took advantage of at all four Parks!
Early entry allows Disney Resort Hotel Guests access to the Parks 30 minutes before Park opening. That being said, we made sure to arrive a half hour before early entry to ensure the best possible outcome.
Once again, it paid off! We got to experience our top attractions at each Park, which typically draw huge crowds, at minimal wait times.
So, although it’s tiring and may seem inconvenient on vacation, we can’t stress enough how beneficial it is to take advantage of rope drop and early entry.
Our MickeyBlogger visited Magic Kingdom this morning, and his pictures prove our point! It’s June, yet there were minimal people at the Park!
If you want your best chance at a magical Disney Parks experience, take advantage of rope-dropping and early entry. It pays off in the end!
