Magic Kingdom Experiences Large Crowds for Presidents’ Day Weekend!
While you might expect Disney World to be a little less crowded during the month of February, that is not the case today! Magic Kingdom is experiencing large crowds for Presidents’ Day Weekend!
Presidents’ Day Weekend
As our MickeyBlogger headed towards the entrance, she was taken aback by the sheer volume of people! That being said, holiday weekends always equal more Disney Guests, with many visiting for the three-day weekend.
One of our MickeyBloggers notes that the crowds are also a result of President’s Day, Mardi Gras, and an upcoming runDisney event colliding! So, if you’re thinking about traveling to Disney World in February, you’ll probably want to avoid this particular weekend!
Let’s take a look at some videos and images from the scene at Magic Kingdom!
Large Crowds
It’s a beautiful day and the sun is out, but look at those lines! If this is how the entrance looks, there will undoubtedly be some substantial lines for attractions.
Make sure you check Disney World’s My Disney Experience App to stay updated on wait times. If ever there was a time to invest in Lightning Lane Entrances through Genie+, it’s now!
Individual Lightning Lanes can also be purchased for select attractions. Although it costs extra, it’s a worthwhile investment, especially if you have limited time at the Parks.
Wow, that’s a lot of Guests!
The area is completely backed up.
But, people are patiently waiting their turn, as they prepare for a busy day!
Encountering large crowds can be stressful at any of Disney’s Theme Parks. If you’re heading to Walt Disney World Resort this weekend, be prepared for a congested environment.
Let’s hope people will exercise consideration so Disney World can maintain its title as The Most Magical Place on Earth! Happy Presidents’ Day Weekend!
