Today, the sequel fans have been waiting for debuts in theaters, and a new song celebrates the epic film. The Weeknd has released, “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” from Avatar: The Way of Water.
“Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)”
As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, the song is featured in the movie’s credits. The track debuted one day prior to the film’s premiere.
A musical tribute, it runs four minutes long and was previously showcased in Avatar‘s trailer. Written and sung by the Weeknd, it was produced by Swedish House Mafia and Simon Franglen.
The song is a battle cry, paying tribute to life, death, and strength. Featuring the smooth sounds of The Weeknd’s voice, it combines inspirational lyrics and upbeat tones, making for a great listen.

On December 4, The Weeknd gave fans a sneak peek at the track via his Instagram and Twitter accounts. The posts featured Avatar’s logo, along with its release date.
Film producer, Jon Landau tweeted a photo with the musician as well. Its caption reads, “As the Na’vi say, ‘Zola’u nìprrte’ soaiane Avatar’… Welcome to the Avatar family.”

The original motion picture soundtrack will debut in vinyl in 2023. What a great item to add to a record collection!
22 songs are featured, including a special track, sung by actress Zoë Saldaña. Entitled, “The Songcord,” it’s a moving tribute, and who knew she could sing like that?!
Avatar: The Way of Water
As reported before, James Cameron’s sequel arrives 13 years after the original. More movies will follow if fans prove interested in the series.
