Attraction Signage Mysteriously Disappears from ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’
Blank signs tell no tales. While taking a stroll through the heart of Adventureland earlier today, something seemed off…
Remember this sign?
If you’ve been to Magic Kingdom in the past 10 years, you surely remember the iconic “Pirates of the Caribbean” lettering emblazoned on a ships’ abandoned mast signaling the entrance to the attraction.
Although the mast was still swaying and the crowds were still queued up for the attraction, the famous lettering has mysteriously gone missing!
With no refurbishment taking place on the attraction, it’s a puzzling move for sure- but don’t worry just yet! The attraction was fully operational when I passed by, and more likely than any other rumor out there, this is just a simple re-paint to keep the lettering in pristine condition.
Still though, it’s an odd sight to see the iconic logo absent from Adventureland! Do you think this just a little sign refurb, or do you think something bigger (like a logo change) might be on the weather horizon? Leave me a comment and let me know!
