Final Stateroom Installed! A Sneak Peek Inside Disney Treasure
Exciting news for Disney Cruise Line fans! The final stateroom has been installed on the Disney Treasure, marking a significant milestone in the ship’s construction at Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. This marks an exciting step closer to the maiden voyage of this magnificent ship.
Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin) shared some intriguing photos on X, giving us a glimpse into the progress. A peek inside one of the staterooms reveals a treasure map as the main art piece in the sitting area above the couch.
This adds a thrilling touch of adventure, perfectly fitting the theme of the Disney Treasure. The stateroom also features an upper berth, allowing for a fourth guest, making it ideal for families.
Above the main bed, there’s a captivating picture of a seaside scene with black and white overlays of nautical elements like an old-fashioned diving suit and helmet. While it’s not entirely clear what this depicts, it certainly adds to the maritime charm of the room.
Despite this exciting milestone of the final stateroom installed, there’s still quite a bit of work to be done. An in-progress photo of a hallway on Deck 7 shows it looking quite bare, with construction notes written on the doors of the staterooms.
This glimpse behind the scenes highlights the meticulous effort and attention to detail going into the Disney Treasure’s construction. Setting to sail from Port Canaveral in December 2024, with 1,246 staterooms, the Disney Treasure promises to be a spectacular addition to Disney Cruise Line’s fleet. With the final stateroom installed, we can’t wait to see more updates and sneak peeks as it all comes together.
