M. Mouse Mercantile To Close For Refurbishment Soon in Disney World
One of my favorite things to do at Disney World is take a ride around the Magic Kingdom monorail loop and explore the different resorts.
Shopping, dining, and exploring Disney’s Contemporary, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian Village Resorts can be a full day in and of itself and a fun way to explore elements of Walt Disney World that are often overlooked.
Well, if you are anything like me, or you plan on staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort later this month, I have some bad news.
M. Mouse Mercantile Will Close May 20
M. Mouse Mercantile, the Floridian gift shop that sells all things Mickey, will be closing for refurbishment on Monday, May 20.
When discussing the upcoming closure with M. Mouse Mercantile Cast Members, we were able to confirm the May 20th date and learn that the store plans to distribute its merchandise to other shops in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
So, while you won’t be able to peruse M. Mouse Mercantile itself, the shops, apparel, toys, jewelry, and other merchandise will still be available.
At this time, there is no confirmed date for when the gift shop will reopen.
