Boo Bash: Maleficent Returns for Wicked Cavalcade
What would a Boo Bash Halloween party be without the evil queen herself?!
The fourth new cavalcade debuting at tonight’s Boo Bash marked the return of the Maleficent Dragon float!
This is the first time the purple steampunk beast has made her way down Main Street since the Festival of Fantasy parade was paused due to the pandemic. We sure are glad to see this wild fiery monstrosity again!
Maleficent was lead out of Frontierland by her winged, flying-monkey-style raven minions and other creepy vines and stilted beasts.
They sure do set a mood!
The dragon rolled in front of Cinderella Castle in her full metal glory, green eyes gleaming at the crowd as she followed her crew toward Main Street.
Heading toward the train station, we love the juxtaposition of the larger-than-life steampunk style Maleficent against the All-American, small town USA backdrop. It somehow makes her seem even more intimidating!
While Maleficent no longer breathes actual fire, we sure are happy to see her roll down Main Street once again!
