New Safety Sign Debuts at Spaceship Earth
EPCOT fans got some exciting news last month when Disney announced that a major refurbishment of Spaceship Earth was on the way.
Taking the stage at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event’s Horizons: A Carousel of Progress panel, Disney Imagineer Ali Rubinstein and YouTuber Mark Rober announced Disney’s plans for the attraction.

While the attraction’s basic storyline will remain unchanged, Disney plans on expanding the theme of Spaceship Earth to focus on human connection.
According to Imagineering, the team will update each of the attraction’s current scenes and expand its timeline through the internet age and beyond!

While we are still awaiting more details on Disney’s plans for the next iteration of Spaceship Earth, we do have an update on the current attraction.
A New Sign Has Debuted at Spaceship Earth
When we visited EPCOT this morning, we were surprised to find a new safety sign at Spaceship Earth.

A new safety sign has been installed at Spaceship Earth warning guests about boarding procedures.
The new warning is located above the entrance to the pavilion itself, and it reads, “Moving Walkway Ahead Two Guests Per Row.”
It also features a small image of riders safely boarding.

While the new sign doesn’t indicate any change to the Spaceship Earth boarding procedures, it is another helpful safety reminder.

Hopefully, the new warning both helps riders board safely and speeds up the loading process.
