Walt Disney World Wait Times for Fourth Week of September 2026
Do you know what fans liked best about Walt Disney World last month? You can walk 100 feet without dripping with sweat. It was a nice change of pace.
The heat absolutely scorched the parks throughout the summer, fatiguing park guests.

Magic Kingdom
Over the past month, the weather has normalized a bit, which Disney fans have appreciated. Not coincidentally, attendance has increased in September.
From a historical perspective, that’s a rare phenomenon for what’s typically the offseason.

Main Street, U.S.A.
Did that trend continue last week? Here are Walt Disney World’s Wait times for the fourth week of September 2026.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Fans continue to debate the arrival date of the Tropical Americas. Disney had previously indicated a 2027 debut, but that’s now up in the air.
The company recently removed a timeline from the official listing for this upcoming themed land. So, we don’t really know whether it’ll debut in 2027 or 2028.

Tropical Americas
Current speculation centers on a late 2027 date or possibly even a phased opening. For the time being. Animal Kingdom must rely on Bluey as the new hotness.
Still, fans always want to play with the animals here, as we’re about to see.

Bluey’s Wild World

Animal Kingdom’s numbers last month were larger than some in August.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
That trend continued at Hollywood Studios as well, albeit with an asterisk. Fans who visited the park on Saturday lamented an absolutely brutal day.
Several of the park’s top attractions suffered extended outages…and not for the first time last week. With fewer E-ticket attractions operational, the lines surged everywhere.

Alien Swirling Saucers
Last week, I’d mentioned The Magic of Disney Animation and how it should help here. With so many new character greetings available, Disney increased its overall throughput.
Alas, the attraction downtime negated those benefits…and then some.

EPCOT
I’ll go ahead and spoil you on the top ride at the park last week. EPCOT hosted September Day at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
On that date, the roller coaster tossed out the rest of its regular soundtrack.

Well, it wasn’t last week anyway. That’s great news for Disney.
