Disney Pulls the Curtain Back on Dry Dock
For the first time ever, Disney has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the recent refurbishment of the Disney Wonder.

As the name would suggest, ships in dry dock are not on the water.
Instead, the vessel is docked on land, giving teams the chance to refresh spaces and enhance experiences.

When the Disney Wonder came to dry dock, teams installed twelve miles of new carpet, refurbished interior spaces, and cleaned up the ship’s exterior figures.

100 Projects in 14 Days
In total, teams completed more than 100 projects throughout the ship over 14 days.

To keep the process as efficient as possible, teams worked around the clock! In total, nearly 1,000 Cast Members contributed to the project.

While some renovations took place in guest areas, much of the work focused on the ship’s structure.
