The Disney Believe Reached a MAJOR Milestone Today!
We can’t believe the Disney Cruise Line is about to add another ship to its fleet!
The Disney Believe promises to add a unique sailing experience to the Disney Cruise Line, with theming inspired by Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana, and The Little Mermaid.

The ship will take its maiden voyage in late 2027, so until then, we’re eagerly awaiting new updates, reveals, and first looks.
Speaking of — Disney Parks Blog has invited fans to follow the Disney Believe Ship’s Log, which updates us on the ship’s journey to its first sail!

NEW Updates – Disney Believe
Over at the Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, the Disney Believe is taking shape! Today, the first three gigablocks were completed and floated out of the shipyard.
This is a very important milestone, marking that the Disney Believe is still on track for a 2027 debut.

Unfamiliar with gigablocks? (You’re not alone.) These shipbuilders build the vessel in large sections and then weld them together — like a giant 3D puzzle! (This is the first ship built using this strategy since the Disney Wish.) These large sections are known as gigablocks!

This first set of gigablocks contains the midship of the vessel, which will house important areas like the Grand Hall!
The next gigablock will be the forward portion, followed by the aft.
