Remembering September 11, 2001
Today is a somber day, and all of us at MickeyBlog and MickeyTravels pause to remember the lives lost during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
A Day of Reflection

Jin Lee
Twenty-five years have passed, but we all remember that morning and where we were. We all woke up to a peaceful Tuesday morning that changed our lives and our nation forever.
Nearly 3,000 people were killed in New York City, at the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. Countless families lost someone they loved, and survivors continue to carry the memories of that day.

Today, we pause and reflect, remembering the passengers, employees, travelers, and everyday people whose lives were taken too soon.
We remember those who developed illness after the horrible attacks. We honor the firefighters, police officers, emergency personnel, military members, and civilians who responded with extraordinary courage.

Many rushed toward danger to help strangers. Communities across the country came together to offer comfort and support, and everyone was a hero; we honor everyone who played a part.
Remembrance
September 11 is also a day to recognize the lasting impact on survivors, first responders, service members, and families. Their stories will live on and be remembered. We will preserve them with care and pass them on to future generations.

Today, on this 25th Anniversary, we join others across the country in pausing to reflect on the lives lost. We honor the heroes who sacrificed and stand with those forever changed.
We will never forget.
