PHOTOS: Alice Stops by Drawn to Wonderland as The Magic of Disney Animation Soft Opens
In case you missed the news, The Magic of Disney Animation officially soft-opened today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, giving guests their first chance to experience the new attraction.
Located inside a recreation of the Walt Disney Animation building, the new attraction offers a series of interconnected experiences that bring Disney storytelling to life.
Inside, guests can find the Drawn to Wonderland playground, Off the Page! character interactions, Olaf Draws!, and much, much more.
Throughout the morning, we have been reporting on all the enchanted fun taking place at The Magic of Disney Animation today.
Now, however, I want to focus on Drawn to Wonderland.
Alice Visits Drawn to Wonderland
Located inside The Magic of Disney Animation, Drawn to Wonderland is an indoor playground themed around Mary Blair’s Alice in Wonderland concept art.
The entire area was designed to transport guests into a piece of art.
Drawn to Wonderland
During today’s soft opening, young guests got a very special surprise when Alice herself showed up for a tea party.
As you can see, Alice looked right at home in Drawn to Wonderland.
It was magical to see young guests get the chance to interact with Alice.
She even explained how some of the playground’s interactive features work.

This is the kind of magic that has made Disney famous.
Keep Your Eyes Open
According to the Cast Members we talked to, Alice will continue to appear inside Drawn to Wonderland through the attraction’s grand opening.
