PHOTOS: EVERY Character Meet-And-Greet at The Magic of Disney Animation in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The Magic of Disney Animation will officially open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on September 14, offering you a myriad of new ways to engage with the filmography on which the proverbial Disney empire was built.

The new attraction is teeming with awesome experiences, and it, perhaps most importantly, brings a giant Sorcerer Mickey Hat back to the center of the park.
One of the new experiences at The Magic of Disney Animation is “Off the Page!,” which hosts the attraction’s character meet-and-greets.

It’s divided into six sections that highlight different parts of the animation process: Story, Layout, Hand-Drawn Animation, Computer Animation, Lighting, and Effects.
Each section offers its own meet-and-greet complete with beautiful themed backdrops. We were able to check out all of the initial character encounters during a recent preview of the attraction.

With that, let’s take a look at every character meet-and-greet!
Every Character Meet-and-Greet at The Magic of Disney Animation

Mulan is meeting guests in Off the Page!’s Story section. Her backdrop is a beautiful painting of a setting sun.

Her photo op uses an automated camera, as does Rapunzel’s, who is located in the Layout section.

You can take a photo with her in front of a painting of a lush Corona forest.

Chip ‘n’ Dale can be found in the Hand-Drawn Animation section, while Donald and Daisy Duck are in Computer Animation.

Goofy is in the Lighting section…

…while Stitch is in Effects.

His backdrop is a beautiful watercolor painting of a Hawaii beach. The watercolor backgrounds are part of what gives Lilo & Stitch (2002) such a distinct look, and it’s nice to see that represented here.
