Olaf Draws! Will Debut with a Virtual Queue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Something new is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
The Magic of Disney Animation, located in the new Walt Disney Studios Lot, will feature a variety of exclusive animation-inspired experiences.
The Magic of Disney Animation
Officially opening on September 14th, The Magic of Disney Animation offerings include Drawn to Wonderland, Off the Page!, Olaf Draws!, the Once Upon a Studio Theater, and more.
If you follow along with MickeyBlog, we recently attended a media preview and shared first looks at everything you can expect. Now more details are coming in!
Olaf Draws!
One new Magic of Disney Animation experience we are especially excited about is Olaf Draws!
At Olaf Draws!, guests are invited to pick up a pencil and learn how to sketch a beloved Disney animated character.
Olaf Draws!
Each session is approximately 10 minutes and features a real Disney animator providing step-by-step directions.
Olaf Draws!
Olaf is also there learning alongside guests!
Olaf Draws!
Our team confirmed with Cast Members that this experience will initially debut with a virtual queue as needed.
Each class offers limited seating, so a virtual queue would theoretically help control the line and the crowds.
Olaf Draws!
We also confirmed that this virtual queue will NOT be available in the My Disney Experience app. Instead, guests will need to physically visit the entrance of Olaf Draws!, where a Cast Member will add them to the virtual waitlist.
Guests on the waitlist will receive a return time via text message, so they have time to enjoy other attractions throughout Hollywood Studios while they wait.
The earlier you visit, the better chance you have of getting into Olaf Draws! that day.
Olaf Draws!
Olaf draws! officially opens September 14th and is a must-do on your next visit to Hollywood Studios. Stay tuned and follow along with us at MickeyBlog to stay updated on this and all things Disney.
