Go Inside the New Drawn to Wonderland Play Area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been transformed into the new Walt Disney Studios Lot! Most of the area opened a while ago, but we’ve been patiently waiting for the final part of the transformation to be completed — The Magic of Disney Animation.

The Magic of Disney Animation
This new collection of experiences is inside a building inspired by the iconic Roy E. Disney Animation Building, topped with Mickey’s iconic Sorcerer Hat (just like the one in California!). The building officially opens on September 14th, but we were invited by Disney to see a preview of everything today!

So, come along with us as we check out one of the highly anticipated experiences in the new building.
Drawn to Wonderland
Drawn to Wonderland is an immersive indoor playground inspired by Mary Blair’s original concept art for Alice in Wonderland.

In here, you will find everything from the Mad Tea Party and Mad Hatter’s house to the Queen of Hearts’ rose garden and the Cheshire Cat’s Tulgey Wood!

The whole space is filled with the vibrant colors and whimsical shapes that are signature to Mary Blair’s artistic style.

The playground is geared especially for younger kids — it’s a great place for families to play and recharge while remaining immersed in Disney storytelling.

The space encourages kids to explore through active play like climbing and wandering, creating their own adventure along the way.

It’s very colorful…

…with some moody lighting!

There are also some areas for seating so parents can rest.

Here’s another look!
