‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3 Trailer Teases a Darker Quest and New Demigods
Percy Jackson is heading into his most dangerous adventure yet, and fans are ready.
Disney+ has released a new preview for Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which premieres November 20.
Percy Jackson Season 3
Based on The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series raises the stakes for Percy and his friends while introducing several new characters fans have been waiting to meet.
Season 3 begins with Annabeth Chase missing and a legendary goddess in danger. Percy immediately focuses on bringing Annabeth home, even as a much larger threat begins taking shape.
The Great Prophecy says a child of one of the Big Three gods, Zeus, Poseidon, or Hades, will determine the fate of Olympus. That demigod may save Olympus or bring about its destruction.
With Percy’s life hanging in the balance, the series is preparing to explore the prophecy more closely.
Executive producer Jon Steinberg shared that Percy and Annabeth’s relationship continues to sit at the center of the story. After two seasons spent learning how much they rely on each other, Season 3 will show how they function while separated.
New Demigods and Gods Arrive
The world of Percy Jackson is also getting much bigger with new characters! Season 3 brings Thalia Grace, played by Tamara Smart, into the heart of the adventure.
As another child of the Big Three, Thalia shares Percy’s connection to the prophecy, although the two do not always agree.
Fans will also meet siblings Nico and Bianca di Angelo, played by Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie.
Saara Chaudry joins the cast as Zoë Nightshade, lieutenant of the Hunters of Artemis, while Dafne Keen takes on the role of Artemis.
Several additional Olympians will make their series debuts, including Ming-Na Wen as Hera, Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite, Jennifer Beals as Demeter, and Hubert Smielecki as Apollo.
Meanwhile, Luke Castellan remains under the influence of Kronos, creating another dangerous complication for Percy and his friends.
A Darker Turn

Fans may be surprised that season three takes a darker turn. The young heroes are growing older, and the series is growing with them.
Executive producers describe the upcoming season as “more mature, with higher stakes, a larger group of characters, and a broader look at Greek mythology.”
