TSA PreCheck Introduces Gateside Airport Access
TSA PreCheck members may soon have a new reason to visit the airport. The best part?
You don’t need an upcoming flight.
Airport Send-Offs

TSA
The Transportation Security Administration has introduced Gateside by TSA PreCheck.
This is a free program allowing approved non-travelers to pass through airport security and enter participating terminals.

Gateside gives eligible visitors the chance to walk family members to their gate, welcome travelers when they arrive, or meet friends during a long layover.
Visitors can also enjoy the restaurants and stores located beyond the airport’s security checkpoints.

TSA
The program is open to TSA PreCheck members and others with a Known Traveler Number. Children may participate, but a parent or guardian must add them to the reservation.
How Gateside Works

Visitors must apply one to three days before their planned airport visit through the Gateside website. Applicants will need a Login.gov account and must provide their personal information.
Approved visitors can bring an acceptable form of identification to the airport and enter through the TSA PreCheck screening lanes. Approval is not guaranteed, and access may be limited during busy travel periods.

Orlando International Airport
Orlando International Airport is not currently included, so Disney World travelers cannot use Gateside there yet. However, TSA plans to expand the program to additional airports in the coming months.
