PHOTOS: Brown Derby Lounge Reopens With a Fresh New Look
A familiar spot for drinks and bites is back at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge has reopened today following a short refurbishment that began back in June.
While the lounge continued serving guests from a temporary outdoor location during the project, its regular patio is once again ready to welcome visitors. Let’s check out the updates.
A Comfortable Outdoor Lounge
The biggest change guests will notice is the new awning covering the outdoor seating area. Instead of relying on umbrellas for shade, the patio now has more protection from both the Florida sun and those afternoon rain showers.
Disney also added ceiling fans underneath the awning and hanging lights give the space a warm finishing touch. We aso spotted new gutters installed.
The rest of the patio received a small glow- up. The pavement has been redone, and the familiar tables and chairs are back. The chairs have also been refreshed with their signature red upholstery.
Around the outside of the lounge, we see new concrete columns for the lampposts and the lamps have been updated too. The look is sleek and perfect with the updated awning supports

Overall, the changes aren’t dramatic but gives the popular outdoor spot a freshened-up appearance and, even better? Some extra shade and airflow.
Be sure to stop by to check out the new look and enjoy the delicious offerings.
