Disney Sets Reopening Date For the Grand Floridian Cafe
The last couple of years have brought change to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
During that time, we have seen a complete overhaul of the resort’s lobby, the Garden View Lounge undergo renovations, and The Perch open.
Needless to say, it has been a whirlwind.

Finally, there is the Grand Floridian Cafe.
The Restaurant Closed Earlier This Summer
Earlier this summer, we told you that the Grand Floridian Cafe had closed for a refurbishment.
Quickly, walls were erected around the eatery, blocking any view inside.
During the renovations, brunch was relocated to Citricos, while dinner was unavailable.
Now, we have another update to share.
A Reopening Date Has Been Revealed
According to the Walt Disney World website, Grand Floridian Cafe will officially reopen for dinner on November 2, 2026.

It should be noted that a message on the website still says that the Grand Floridian Cafe will be closed throughout October 2026.
Reservations, however, open beginning November 2.
“Drink in delightful views of the rose gardens and courtyard pool as you dine on inspired favorites. Open for brunch or dinner, the Grand Floridian Cafe is a hidden gem that offers moderately priced cuisine with maximum flavor,” the restaurant teases.

I, for one, can’t wait to see what Disney has done with the restaurant.
