Disneyland Wait Times for September 2026

For many Disneyland fans, it’s the most wonderful time of the year.

Yes, we’ve officially entered Haunted Mansion Holiday season at The Happiest Place on Earth.

How did this ray of spooky sunshine impact the park’s crowds last month? Here are Disneyland’s wait times for September 2026.

Since the calendar has rolled over to September, that’s what we call it.

In reality, we’re evaluating the wait times for the 31 days of August. And this month always experiences an increase in fan excitement.

The arrival of Haunted Mansion Holiday has become a de facto holiday in Anaheim. When the attraction first reopens with its new look, a mob forms at New Orleans Square.

This behavior tends to continue for the first couple of weeks before slowing down slightly.

Still, we should expect Haunted Mansion Holiday to require one of the longest waits throughout the rest of 2026.

On the flip side, school has returned to session across North America. So, the summer season has unofficially ended, which causes ripple effects at the park.

Since there isn’t one set time for school to start back, it’s a bit challenging to track. You’ll notice the impact across the board this month, though.

So, yeah, every single attraction at Disneyland Park decreased its average wait last month.

Overall, the park’s attractions averaged a wait of just 20 minutes, one of the lowest totals in recent memory.

That’s a four-minute drop from July, but it’s also seven minutes less than a year ago at this time.

Haunted Mansion Holiday definitely did its thing, though.

We’ve also entered Halloween season at Disney California Adventure.

The holiday overlays just debuted, and they’ll remain popular until the start of November.

They only impacted a modest part of the past month, though, as they’re still new.

As such, we’ll notice the skew more in next month’s data.

I congratulate the Guardians of the Galaxy ride for being the only one to increase its wait last month.

That trend will continue with Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark now open. Overall, the park’s attractions averaged a wait of 26 minutes, which is four minutes less than last time.

So, Disneyland Resort’s crowds dropped overall, save for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Now, we’ve entered the slow season of September, which should mean even smaller crowds.
