Disney Announces Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar Refurbishment at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort

If you have been following along here at MickeyBlog, you know that Disney World has been busy with a number of major refurbishments.

Several resorts are currently undergoing significant updates, including Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.

We have also seen guest rooms receive makeovers at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Kidani Village.

Finally, earlier this morning, we brought you a report on the major refurbishment coming to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.

Now, we are back with another update!

Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar Refurbishment

Walt Disney World has announced that a major refurbishment is coming to Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.

From September 18 through mid-December, the Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar will be closed for refurbishment.

Walt Disney World has announced a refurbishment of the Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.

During this time, guests may see or hear construction activity during the day.

A Temporary Pool Bar Will Be Available 

The good news, however, is that a temporary pool bar will be available nearby.

So, if you have an upcoming stay at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, make sure you plan ahead.

While the Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar may be unavailable, you will still be able to enjoy a drink by the pool.

A temporary pool bar will be open during the refurbishment.
