You’ve Got to Try the France Booth’s New Short Ribs at EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival 2026!
Happy first day of the 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, everyone! We’re in EPCOT for the start of the festival to check out some food, drinks, entertainment, merchandise, and more.
There are some exciting new eats over in the France Pavilion, so let’s go check them out!
France
The France booth is in the France Pavilion near the front right! This is usually a very popular one, so be prepared to possibly wait in a long line.
Menu
Two new food items are on the menu here this year, and we’re trying both! The rest of the items are returning.
Food
First up, we’re trying the new Boeuf Braise vin Rouge et Echalottes, Gâteau de Pomes de Terre. This is red wine-braised short ribs with shallot confit and potato gâteau for $9.50!
This was fantastic! The beef was super tender and not fatty or tough at all. There was a deep, rich flavor from the red wine.
The potatoes were a good vessel for the beef and were cooked perfectly. The onions brought the whole dish together nicely! It’d be great on a cold day.
We also tried the new Crème Brûlée Pistache, Confiture de Fruits Rouges! This is pistachio crème brûlée with berry compote for $7.95.
We weren’t huge fans of this dessert, unfortunately. The pistachio cream was pretty bland.
The berry compote inside was a bit of a weird combination with the pistachio, too. It was not our favorite!
Other items you can get here include the Trio d’Escargots, Garniture a l’ail et au Persil, which is a trio of escargot bites in croissant dough served with a garlic-parsley dip for $9.25. This is an item here to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the festival — It was introduced back in 1996!
You can also get the Brioche aux Epices avec une Garniture Mornay de Trois Fromages! This is a spiced brioche with a three-cheese mornay filling for $8.95, and we’ve found it to be delicious in the past.
The drinks available here are the returning Chilled French Cosmo, which is vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, Grand Marnier Liqueur, and Simply cranberry juice for $15.50, the new Plaimont ELIA Colombard for $6.95, and the new La Roche Prestige Cuvée for $7.95.
Overall, we’d go for the short ribs or the brioche if you’re visiting this booth!
